A good hangover needs a good burger. My cure is Sasa Burger in Nakameguro.
Often overlooked by its larger branch in nearby Daikanyama, Sasa Burger Nakameguro is the type of hole in the wall burger joint that comforts and caress your aching body after a big night out.
The UK themed shop is in contrast to the Americana inspired Daikanyama location. Sasa Burger Nakameguro is conveniently located a short walk from my apartment near Nakameguro station and is tucked away on the bottom of the GT building. Its small, but not too small in relative to Tokyo's standards. Despite the somewhat gaudy decorations, smaller menu, and cheaper price the Nakameguro branch of Sasa doesn't skimp out on taste.
The avocado cheese burger is my go-to when my body needs an infusion of awesome. Not an overpowering flavor, but just enough spice and cooked juicy and tender. The healthy serving of avocado requires Jedi skills to keep the burger together but it's worth every bite.

If you like burgers or looking for a quaint place to hide away, Sasa Burger is for you. Hangover not required.
